This website is in the process of being totally re-written. The new site will be in PHP including an all new database, a new layout and will also be running under a new domain name. No updates will be done to this site as it will soon be removed. Updates to follow.

| African Rifts is a personal website dedicated to african cichlids only. It offers information and a large selection of photographs which can be found in the photo index. I have kept malawi cichlids on and off for nearly 20 years and have enjoyed every minute of it. In February 2002 I decided to start this website in order to share my hobby.

 Victorian Photo Index (under construction)
The search reports are showing an increased number of searches for victorian cichlids. With this in mind i am currently building a photo index for those beautiful but sadly now endangered cichlids from Lake Victoria.
