This website has been maintained and owned by African Rifts (myself) since 2002. The photograph used in the top website banner is from my own personal collection taken by myself and is copyright to African Rifts. It may NOT be used in anyway, shape or form by any other individual. Only part of the photograph has been used from the original which i hold to prove copyright ownership. African Rifts (myself) has also owned the domain name africanrifts.co.uk since 2002 and now uses but does not own africanrifts.co.cc.

Some of the content such as text, photographs and the tank volume calculator script found on this website belongs to African Rifts. If it does not belong to African Rifts then there will be a copyright notice or credit to the respective owner where possible. Some of the pictures found in the index have an unknown copyright. If one or more of these pictures belongs to you then please contact me with the name of the picture and your copyright details. If you would like to submit a photograph to the index just contact me with your details and copyright.

All of the photos available in the photo index are reproduced by permission except a handful as mentioned above. African Rifts holds all "reproduced by permission" corrospondents and can provide them if needed.
